Susan Gerber, CPA

Business Solutions Implementation Director

Susan began her career in public accounting, developing deep expertise in SECregulated audits. She conducted physical inventory observations, detailed account analyses and certified audit engagements, and evaluated internal control workflows to identify weaknesses and recommend improvements. Her audit work provided a solid foundation for her later operational and systems roles.

She went on to serve as Assistant Controller for E&B Marine, an SECregulated retailer, where she conducted companywide reviews of internal controls, interviewed staff to assess procedural gaps, oversaw account analyses and visited store locations to review operational procedures. In this role she worked directly with the CFO and controller on financial reporting and compliance initiatives.

At Tiffany&Co. Susan advanced to Manager of Financial Planning. She directed corporate budgeting, forecasting and capital planning cycles, performed indepth analytical reviews, managed account analyses, and produced comprehensive financial reports and variance analyses for senior leadership. She also conducted surprise audits at retail locations to ensure operational integrity and compliance, and played a key role in evaluating, selecting and implementing new financial software solutions, collaborating with crossfunctional teams to enhance reporting efficiency and accuracy. These responsibilities reflect the broader remit of FP&A professionals, who oversee income, expenses, capital expenditures and financial statements to support major corporate decisions.

Throughout her career, Susan has built a reputation for analytical rigor, operational insight and the ability to strengthen financial processes through both strategic planning and handson leadership. She brings this blend of audit acumen, financial management experience and technology expertise to her advisory work, helping clients modernize their finance functions and ERP environments.
